At the moment, all open events take place online. I do have plans to start organising in person events in the future so please do keep an eye out.

How Many People Attend Open Events?

All open events have coaching principles at their heart. They are designed to be highly interactive & to encourage deep thinking. As such group size is intentionally small and numbers are capped to ensure everyone has an opportunity to participate.

The cap for Network & Grow events is 12. The cap for Business Bookworms & The Quote Club is 8. How many people attend depends on the theme of each event & people’s availability.

Do I Need To Be A Member Of The Quote Club or Business Bookworms To Attend?

Do I Need To Be A Member Of The Quote Club or Business Bookworms To Attend?

Logo graphic

No, neither of these groups are membership clubs so you do not have to commit to coming along every month & can dip in & out, depending on your availability. However, both groups have a cohort of regular attendees, so I always check with them first before agreeing to someone new coming along. This may take a couple of days so please factor this into your thinking when you choose your date to attend.

What People Are Saying

Karen ran an enjoyable and challenging talk on the six wives of Henry VIII. By skillfully leading us on a journey, we were invited to reflect on appropriate behaviours and outcomes in our world. This allowed me to view through a different lens from what I have before and seeing things from a different perspective – thanks Karen

Simon Hague

Executive Coach

This was the first live event I have been to. Karen’s methods of delivery, and great sense of humour made it extremely engaging! This live event provoked a robust plan for my growth! It helped me to deeply reflect, and consider the type of leader I want to be - thank you for a great event!!!

Natalie Holt

Ward Manager

Each event I attend seems to exceed my expectations as it`s with new and old people so everyone brings a new vibe to the chat, it’s also nice looking back into the past and trying to understand how and why things happened. The participation from everyone is nicely timed between the story and information etc. I would definitely recommend this to other people. I have found it’s really helped me realise the importance of seeing things from a different view and how it’s important to have people who are thinking differently in your team.

Patrick O’Grady

Operations Manager, Simply Interview

Karen provides an environment conducive to doing your very best thinking. Everyone is encouraged to contribute what they would like to, creating a valuable enriching space.

Tim Williams

Director, Peak Health Coaching

A new way to me of getting across information and making it more relevant. Karen used some personal experiences, (fascinating enough on their own!) keeping us interested whilst cleverly relating examples of business strategy within the anecdotes. A different way of getting information across, using a different angle, with an added bonus if meeting some new contacts. Highly recommend these virtual seminars- whatever the subject matter.
