I really love creating & delivering quirky, alternative events for leadership & team building. Weaving together what we know about history, or the world around us, to draw parallels with modern business enables me to immerse myself in all my favourite things; whilst blending together a life time's experience in mental health nursing, healthcare management, teaching, training, coaching, & consulting.
Every year, I especially look forward to creating the annual Christmas title - a little treat for hard working business owners & their teams to momentarily decompress from the pressures of everyday tasks. With a back catalogue that includes titles such as: 'In the Land of Giants', 'Bah Humbug!', 'It's a Wonderful Life Really!', & 'The Quotes of Christmas Past' - these events have given me lots of festive fun over the past few years.
This year was different - rather like a writer with writer`s block, I found myself stumped for ideas. Usually, ideas just present themselves to me - but not this year, & the more I tried to think of an idea, the more it eluded me!!
To be clear, working for myself, there was absolutely no imperative to come up with anything - other than my own expectations of myself. But, like so many of the people I work with, it is the pressure we put on ourselves that is often the most demanding.
So, I sat with the discomfort & decided to trust that something would emerge - &, low & behold, it did! Not an event this year, but an Advent Calendar - 25 daily emails with festive scenes, motivational quotes, coaching questions, reflective exercises, & vouchers to put towards online events & 121 coaching.
Proudly introducing ADVENT-AGIOUS, a coaching advent calendar new for 2025. I have loved every moment of creating this - & it really hasn't felt like work at all!!
